One team, wherever you are

Because a live-in carer travels to you and lives in your home, we can arrange care in every part of England:

  • Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley
  • London
  • South East
  • South West
  • East of England
  • West Midlands
  • East Midlands
  • Yorkshire and the Humber
  • North West
  • North East

How we look after you from a distance

  • A free assessment to understand your needs, your home and your routines.
  • A written care plan, agreed with you and your family, that your carer follows.
  • Regular contact with you, your family and your carer, and reviews whenever your needs change.
  • One main carer, with a relief carer covering holidays and time off, and a full handover each time.
  • Records and alerts in our live care monitoring system: your carer records care in our care app as they give it, our care team reviews records and alerts during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), and the on-call manager deals with urgent alerts outside office hours. With the agreement of the person receiving care, relatives can see care notes through our family app.
  • An on-call manager outside office hours, so you can reach a manager in the evening, at night, at weekends and on bank holidays too.

If someone needs a carer awake through the night, we can also arrange 24-hour care anywhere in England, with a day carer and a waking night carer working in shifts. See night care and 24-hour care.

We work with local GPs, district nurses and hospice teams wherever you live, and we can work with council and NHS funding in any part of England.

All areas and local guides

Wherever you live, please call 01865 715780 and we will talk through what is possible and how soon. We can often start within 24 to 48 hours of the assessment, depending on carer availability, and we confirm the start date once a carer is arranged.

Questions people ask

Where do you provide live-in care?

We arrange live-in care anywhere in England, fully managed by our care team. Anywhere in England we can also arrange 24-hour care with a day carer and a waking night carer working in shifts, for people who need a carer awake through the night. Home care visits, waking nights and sleep-ins are provided across Oxfordshire.

How quickly can live-in care start?

We can often start within 24 to 48 hours of the assessment, depending on carer availability. We assess the care needed, arrange a carer and confirm the start date once the carer is arranged, so it is not a guarantee until then. If someone is in hospital, tell us the expected discharge date as early as you can. Please call us on 01865 715780 and we will tell you honestly what we can arrange, and when.

Is live-in care regulated?

Yes. Day and Nightcare Live In Limited is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England, and is rated Good. We provide a fully managed service: we carry out the assessment, write the care plan with you, match and supervise your carer, and review the care as your needs change.
